Xinflix Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce Anniversary Celebration
On June 19, 2022, nearly 30 Toronto-based companies gathered at Xinflix Media under the initiative of James Wang to establish the Xinflix Entrepreneurs Club. A year later, as the club celebrated its first anniversary at Xinflix Media, old and new friends of the club came together once again.
By this time, the club’s membership had grown to over 100 companies, bringing together industry leaders from various sectors. Its influence had expanded not only across Canada’s West Coast but also into China, solidifying its role as a powerful platform for business networking and collaboration.

This year, we were honored to have Paul Chiang, Member of Parliament and Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister of Housing and Diversity and Inclusion, as the award presenter. He presented badges and certificates to the second and third groups of new club members, further strengthening the club’s vibrant community.
That afternoon, as members arrived early at the venue, they were delighted to see portraits hanging from the ceiling. Everyone eagerly searched for their own dashing image. This thoughtful gift was prepared by Secretary-General Li Xintong as a special surprise for the members.
In the next segment, members took turns placing their company logos on the photo wall, collaboratively creating a vibrant new portrait of the Xinflix Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce family.
Amid post-dinner laughter and camaraderie, attendees made their way into the Xinflix Media. With the stirring sound of music, the Xinflix Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce Anniversary Celebration officially began.
The organizers presented a thoughtfully produced VCR, reflecting on the Chamber’s journey over the past year. From hosting monthly business roadshows to the recently concluded Spring Economic and Trade Forum, from the year-end Charity Gala to volunteering for the Genius Kids Service Center, every effort by the Chamber has helped its members achieve their business aspirations and establish a positive social image.
The slogan "Linking Business Resources, Connecting Effective Networks" has become a hallmark in the Greater Toronto business community.
The celebration was hosted by a dynamic duo: the Chamber’s newly appointed Rotating Chairman, Gao Chao, and Secretary-General Li Xintong. They announced changes to the Xinflix Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce leadership for the coming year.
Former Vice Chairman Gao Chao officially took over the club's flag from outgoing Chairman Patrick Hung, becoming the new Rotating Chairman. Over the past year, Patrick Hung leveraged his extensive political and business networks to organize numerous high-quality events, fostering connections between the Chamber, Canadian political circles, and other ethnic communities. His outstanding contributions have significantly advanced the Chamber’s mission.
The hosts expressed confidence that Chairman Gao Chao will continue Patrick’s legacy, bringing his own strengths and resources to serve the members. They also announced the appointment of Tyler and Yan Jun as Deputy Secretaries-General to assist Li Xintong in her duties.
Next, Member of Parliament Paul Chiang presented the Xinflix Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce badges to the second group of new members. The audience witnessed the induction of another group of outstanding businesses into the Chamber, marking a significant expansion of its vibrant community.
As the board members of the Xinflix Entrepreneurs Chamber of Commerce took the stage for the final round of awards, the celebration drew to a close. James Wang, Chairman of the Board and recipient of the "Spirit Leader Award", reflected on the original vision behind founding the Chamber. He expressed his pride in the Chamber’s growth and development, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration.
James encouraged everyone to leverage the platform provided by Xinflix Media Group and, with unwavering entrepreneurial spirit, carve out a space for the Chinese community in Canada’s multicultural landscape.
