Ms. Wu Wanjing, Director of the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, also attended the event to introduce the latest updates from the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Following the pandemic, Hong Kong has canceled all travel testing and restrictions, returning to pre-pandemic conditions, and is now openly welcoming business partners and tourists from around the world.

After the forum concluded, Hong Kong's official media promptly provided comprehensive coverage of the forum and Ms. Wu Wanjing's speech. Earlier this year, during the Spring Tea Gathering hosted by Xinflix Media, Deputy Consul General Cheng Hongbo of the Chinese Consulate General in Toronto delivered a 15-minute speech at Xinflix Group, discussing China's foreign trade policies. The use of civil commercial events by official organizations to release policy orientations is no longer an incidental occurrence, reflecting the significance of this forum from another perspective.
